BaM Old News & Archive

10/12/05 Previously unbeaten Seth Owen falls to Andy Wright in the 3rd Round of the BaM Ladder! Congrats to Andy for being only the 2nd person to claim a Ladder Championship. We expect fully After Action Reports in the forum!

5/12/05 Although the first round has begun, new entries are still welcome. Not sure how long to keep the current round open; a couple of weeks, at least, as there will be a break between the first and second round, which will allow slower games to catch up.

Reminder: The Time Clock restrictions are not being enforced this round; however, players are encouraged to play as fast as reasonably possible but without causing undue stress either to their psyche or domicilic responsibilities.

Please check the current ladder to see if your name has been confirmed as playing in the first round! My friendly email served junked some emails that were not supposed to be junked. I tried to catch them but in case I missed your entry request, please check the list.

Gary Haggerty has updated the Cyberboard Game Box files (both the .gam and the .gsn); download the latest versions here.

With some more help from George Fagin, some new rules governing game length has been added at the BaM Time Clock. Note that these rules are not being enforced in the first round, but all players are asked to use them so we can evaluate how long a game 'should' take.
